This website (“Site”) is owned and operated by The Federation of Manufactured Home Owners of Florida (FMO). Our intention is to inform and educate visitors about FMO, our mission, our courses, and our meetings. FMO is a not-for-profit entity. Usage of our website is voluntary, and any information gathered or used in your interaction with our website is for public use, membership and related purposes.

By accessing, visiting or using the Site, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your information and imaging as described in this Privacy Policy.   If you disagree with anything in this Privacy Policy, you may prefer to not use the Site. 

If you provide your email address to us, we may email you with information and updates about FMO that we believe may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt-out of receiving these emails from us, please follow the instructions contained in each email you receive from us which will allow you to opt-out of receiving further communications.

We may disclose your information in other special circumstances. These include situations when the sharing is necessary to protect the safety, property, or other rights of FMO or its members, or where otherwise required by law.


This Site may include links to third party social media services where you will be able to post comments, stories, reviews or other information.  If you post any comments, reviews, photos or other information on our Facebook, Twitter or other social media pages, we may display those comments, reviews, photos or information on the Site.  In addition, your use of these social media services may result in the collection or sharing of information about you by these social media services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and settings on the social media services with which you interact to make sure you understand the information and images that may be collected, used, and shared by those social media services.


Your right to privacy is very important to us. We recognize that providing FMO with your personal information is an act of trust.

If you apply for membership, and if you are a member, you voluntarily provide certain information so that FMO can communicate with you and provide to you the services and benefits of membership.  Any financial data provided to FMO is used for the express consented purpose of membership, and registration for courses; and such financial information is not retained and is not in any way disclosed to others.  We may occasionally ask for your feedback via surveys or other communications to better understand your interests and needs. FMO does not share or make public any personal information gathered through our website.

Lists of our members, other than those published on our website and handouts, are not available to the public.  FMO retains photos of members and guests at FMO courses and meetings as a courtesy and the photos are stored on the website and on social media.  If you, as a member or guest, prefers not to have your photo or image captured nor retained, please opt out by notifying us in writing.

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we request that individuals under the age of 18 not use the Site or provide information about themselves through the Site. If we discover that someone who is under the age of 18 has submitted information through the Site, we will use reasonable efforts to delete it from our records.


We may revise this Privacy Policy by posting the amended terms on the Site at least thirty (30) days before the effective date of the changes.  If you do not agree to the changes, you should discontinue your use of the Site prior to the time the modified privacy policy takes effect.  If you continue using the Site after the modified privacy policy takes effect, you will be bound by the modified privacy policy.
